The Frame Garden celebrates its porosity, aiming to be as open as possible as a contribution to the cityscape. It is nothing more than a framed garden, creating a double-shaded, low-energy indoor area. In the midst of the garden, there is an oasis-like rainbow skylight that allows the beautiful rays of the sunset to penetrate into the indoor cafรฉ, resulting in a mesmerizing sight. This design approach has led to the creation of various contrasting spaces, optimizing negative section spaces. The design of the Frame Garden explores the simplicity of basic geometry. It features a strong volume of cubes, which are elegantly carved through a series of symmetrical and playful plans on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a striking contrast provided by an organic amphitheater on the second floor. With no defined front or back, the building can be approached from all directions, while taking full advantage of the surrounding landscape. The frames of the building act as a catalyst for the wind tunnel effect, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenic views of the public park while feeling the refreshing breeze.
