Matcha Microfoam Tips ✨🥹🫶🏻 I’ll never ever bored to try to make matcha-foams My usual ratio • 4gr matcha • 40ml water in 70 degree Celsius Factors that might affect microfoam making: 1. Matcha quality The finest grind usually will froth better 2. Matcha profile I noticed some of cultivars or some brands with creamier profile have better froth. Idk much about this tho :(. But really want to learn. 3. Too much heat in the water can result no foam, but too cold can create no froth. Thats why 70-80 degree is the right temperature. Thats it, hope it helps! Ajisai Niko Neko remake with their recipe :’) Definitely game changer, I enjoy it as a cold whisk rather than latte. Ajisai has a medium-full body, medium astringent and quite high bitterness. Handpicked matcha aroma have fresher smell than machined picked. Especially for premium cultivars, you will noticed like a fresh leaf grinds into a tea directly. Chawan Repair with Kintsugi @nay.n.pott chawan I bought on Aug’25, I repaired it last month with Kintsugi kit from Amazon JP. I just followed the instructions provided, I thought it was easy but… 🙂 what do you think? My Rooking mistake: 1.Use only a small amount of glue, as it freezes very easily. 2. Make sure all cracked parts are glued neatly, or bubbles will show. 3. Always use a small brush for the gold powder.
