To replicate this effect, the use of specific resins and waxes prevent the perfect adhesion of the colour to the leather, this effect is then further enhanced by hand. The colour is then blocked through unique finishing techniques. This process makes each leather slightly different from each other and each garment one of a kind. Discover the Dior Menโs co-designed capsule by @MrKimJones and @StoneIsland, a tribute to Christian Dior and Massimo Osti, the founder of the label, underscoring their shared passion for perfection in processes and clothing shapes. Functional military codes blend with Dior's couture and tailoring traditions across a series of garment-dyed silhouettes and accessories. The range includes a utilitarian vest and shorts ensemble, cotton-sateen sneakers featuring #DiorOblique stitching, and circular bags adorned with the iconic compass rose motif. Presenting a short film about artist Hasani Sahlehe, whose work will be shown with Tif Sigfrids gallery in New York as part of Frieze Focus, of which Stone Island is the Official Partner. Sahlehe is an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary artist and educator from St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, whose practice involves rhythmic abstract painting, installation and performance. His interest is in the natural and supernatural, involving surrender to chance and being present in the moment, as seen in his key work โTrying Greenโ, which is featured on special uniform T-shirts, the first in a series, designed for Frieze personnel to wear at the fair in New York and around the world.
