Australia and UK 30-35%, Turkey 25%, India 10-15%. so if youโre single, know that you are far from being the only oneโฆ and the most interesting part is that singleness is on the rise: for example, in the U.S., the share of single people was 29% in 1990, so this is a very big increase. do you think that this is normal? I could list all of the factors that contributed to this, which will require condensing yearsโ of research BUT I WILL SAY JUST THESE TWO THINGS: if you are happy being single I am happy for you ๐ฅฐ and if you are not happy being single, I am rooting for you ๐ฅฐ itโs tough because relationships at work are often frowned upon, but back in the day, it was one of the main ways to meet?! and bars are also not a vibe. if you havenโt yet, I highly advise focusing on yourself and picking up in-person activities and hobbies, like my friend who decided to join a gym and now sheโs been going for a few months and a guy asked for her numberโฆIN THE GYM ๐ญ or another friend who started going to a bookshop more often to browse books and spend time in their cafe and got asked for their number there ๐ญ AT A BOOKSHOP CAFE ๐ญ how cute.
